After spending 20 years in the financial services industry, Amanda Trenfield found herself at a crossroads as the pandemic took hold in 2020. Having built a successful career, developing national distribution strategies and marketing initiatives for leading international financial services companies in Australia, she realized it was time for a change. Driven by a desire to help others discover their true selves, Amanda left her corporate comfort zone and founded Authentic Human, a business dedicated to guiding individuals, teams, and businesses to live and work authentically.

Amanda’s transition from the corporate world to entrepreneurship wasn’t just about changing careers; it was about creating a new path where compassion, integrity, and openness serve as guiding principles. Through Authentic Human, Amanda now offers business consulting, leadership training, team analysis, and personal well-being coaching, all grounded in the transformative power of Human Design.

Launching Authentic Human presented Amanda with a steep learning curve. From creating a brand identity to mastering the intricacies of professional Human Design software, every aspect of starting, running, and growing her business was new. Despite the challenges, Amanda is incredibly proud of what she has accomplished since 2020. She has facilitated workshops for businesses and teams, helping hundreds of individuals understand their true potential through the lens of Human Design.

While most individual consultations are conducted via Zoom for efficiency, Amanda finds immense joy in conducting in-person workshops. Having moved to the area 10 months ago, she is eager to connect with others and become more involved. Amanda’s vision for the future includes introducing Human Design to more businesses and teams in Australia, with a particular focus on the Newcastle region.

As one of only six professionally trained and accredited Human Design consultants in Australia, Amanda is dedicated to ensuring the positive benefits of this modality are enjoyed by as many people as possible. She is currently working on several collaborations with other consultants and is excited about the prospect of bringing more workshops to the local community.

Amanda believes that local business communities like Caves Connect play a vital role in supporting and empowering entrepreneurs. “It takes a community to raise a child, and I believe it takes a supportive community to raise a thriving business,” she says.
