A Successful Spring Meet-Up at Caves Coastal Bar
A Stormy Night Filled with Connection: Over 40 Attendees Gather for Caves Connect Spring Meet-Up
Last night’s Spring Meet-Up at Caves Coastal Bar was an absolute whirlwind of conversation, connection, and community! Despite the unexpected stormy weather, we had over 40 attendees join us for an evening of relaxed networking, laughter, and new friendships. It was incredible to see so many business owners and entrepreneurs from various industries come together to share ideas and experiences.
We even had a special guest appearance from my Mum and Dad, who came along to show their support—it was a lovely surprise!
The night officially wrapped up around 8:30 pm, but the energy and camaraderie continued throughout the evening. It was truly heartwarming to witness the collaboration and participation that Caves Connect fosters in our local business community.
A huge shout-out to Amanda from Authentic Human for initiating the idea of making this event more informal. Without the need for sponsors, the lead time for organizing these meet-ups is significantly reduced, meaning we can potentially host more regular events going forward. Amanda’s concept proved to be a huge success, allowing us to focus on what matters most: meaningful connections and conversations without the added pressure of sponsorship.
As always, I’m incredibly mindful of maintaining the core values of Caves Connect, keeping it free and open to all to foster genuine collaboration. Last night was a testament to that vision, and it reaffirms the importance of nurturing a space that encourages participation from everyone, regardless of industry or business size.
We want to keep this momentum going, so stay tuned for future events. With the success of last night’s format, we’ll look to make these gatherings even more regular and spontaneous!
Thanks again to everyone who braved the weather and made the night such a memorable one. We can’t wait to see you at the next meet-up!
